South Africa’s president visits 2012 Olympics sitePRESIDENT Jacob Zuma of South Africa dropped by the 2012 Olympics site as part of his State visit to BritainHe was given a tour of the building site and was given an update on the progress being made in preparations for the Games.He met with Organising Committee chairman Seb Coe, Olympics Minister Tessa Jowell, London Mayor Boris Johnson and Olympic Delivery Authority Chairman John Armitt.

President Zuma said: "Through our preparations for the 2010 World Cup we can appreciate the hard work needed to stage such an event. We wish the people of London and Britain well for hosting the 2012 Games."The President met workers and schoolchildren from the five host boroughs.
